I discoverd this forum searching for Sunpower serial explanation, which I found, thank you Sarah F: https://diysolarforum.com/threads/d...bers-date-and-place-of-manufacture-etc.40932/

Last winter, my brother and I installed 14 Longi panels - translated: https://www-nd5-nl.translate.goog/qatsi/?p=74&_x_tr_sl=nl&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=nl&_x_tr_pto=wapp

Compared to the Longi panels, the Sunpower panels performed quite good but the first about 170 W was always for running the SMA inverter. That and other reasons made me sell the SMA inverter and bought Enphase IQ7X inverters. The first connected Sunpower panels made me expand the Sunpower panels with 2 second hand bought Sunpower panels. This is the reason for the Sunpower serial search.

This also gave a suprise: the bill told SPR-X21-345 panels, but I have SPR-X22-360 panels.

With still 5 Sunpower panels to go, on a cloudy day like today, the Sunpower panels outperform the Longi panels:

My conclusion so far: in a Dutch climate I favor Sunpower panels over Longi panels with Enphase inverters.

Sounds interesting, but not sure what is being compared?

- Over what time period do the Watt-hour values of 51Wh to 107Wh (shown above) relate to? Is that energy created for the whole day?

- Do the Sunpower and Longi panels have same kWp value and same age as each other?

- What about positioning? Are the all at the same angle of tilt and azimuth? I guess not from the pics.

- It looks like there are some shading issues with the pics you linked to ?

The whole januari 21 2024.

Sunpower 360 Wp per panel and Longi 500 Wp per panel.

Indeed, the panel that produced 51 Wh misses the light from the north. That was the biggest surpise.

This is the production of whole 2023:

The two most left panels have the most shade of the almost west facing Longi panels, top is north. The east facing panels have the shade of the house.

I'm happy with my used sunpower panel production as well. Haven't tried enphase to be sure though
