Supplemental off-grid solar EV charger

I am looking for ideas on building a "Cheaper" dedicated EV solar charger. This would be supplemental and only used in daylight. With several EV's in my household, an off-grid, 240 volt NEMA 14-50 outlet system is what I am thinking of. However, I am up for any great suggestions

240v@50 amps is 10kw at 80% continous load. That's a lot of power to waste when not charging. Two eg4 6000xp would work.

Cheaper relative to what? Could do Growatt 5000es + 100Ah 48V rack battery giving you up to 20A at 240V and custom L2 EVSE with adjustable pilot charge rate signal telling your EV to reduce or turn off charging based on solar power and battery SOC.
