This is my new boat 12v 100amp lipo04 battery built outa raw cells with a BMS charged by 24v 250w solar to MTTP controler.

Next stage is to setup spit chargeing with the 20amp constant current DC boost converter feeding say 15-16v to the simple 16amp solar charge controller for the lead acid starter batterys.

Current limit the solar charger to 5-10 amps will be reuseing the old spitcharger 16mm cabling to connect the batterys with say a 20amp fuse.

What do you think, issues?

you'd need to design your own charging algorithms for the lead acid bank.

This is already solved for you... I'd suggest using a DC-DC charger and wire the MPPT, LifePo4 and DC-DC charger together on a bus-bar.

Yep might go down that root latter if this unrelistic.

But I like DIY as a first aproch as its cheaper (£23 for boost converter and existing old solar charger and wires)

And with DIY you understand everything which is essental liveing on a lowbudgit boat in the wilds https://boatingeurope.openworlds.info

The solar charger has basic chargeing profile built in for the lead acids and my MTTP has chargeing profile for the LifePo4 :)
