The Solar Pergola Project - Repurposing a pergola I once built to power our home

Signature solar has the end clamps as well, just have to get the size that fits your panel thickness
When you use those, are there any issues with panel expansion or contraction?

Why not just use some 90 degree 2" flashing as a gutter?
That would indeed solve the problem along the two vertical (high to low) gaps. Unfortunately the bigger problem is the four horizontal gaps that have tons of joists they run into, not much I can do there :/

Thanks for taking the time posting your work and progress. We are about to start a major home reno and once we are done the next thing is a solar pergola. Projects like yours spark tons of great ideas!

built this in August, its fully done now, 11 by 22 holds 24 400 watt panels bi facial in Apollo beach FL 3 ft in ground for posts, 4 snap rack mounts for each panel(shared in between), other than that all wood, pressure treated 6 by 6 and 2 by 8 and 10's across, to make sure wind cant take it. They are nowhere near the right angle but they produce quite a bit of solar for sure, i am sure i am losing 25 percent at times but that's ok, it is dual purpose. Spacing between each row to allow for any removal and wind to get through. Originally it was for 12 panels but soon after i added 12 more, could have been done better if I had done that all at once, like make it 15 by 30 or something
