Unbalanced - new Renogy Bluetooth 100ah - keep or return?

For the record I will copy here Renogy's respond about how balancing works on their batteries :

"When the highest cell voltage exceeds 3.3V, try to charge with a small current (1a-3a), so as to increase the equalization time and equalize the opening conditions (single cell > 3.36v, voltage difference > 40mv, open equalization)"

Makes sense - gotta' give the small bleeders in the bms enough time to do the job better.

I think with my 100ah non-bt batt, I'll charge it like normal quickly with my 20ah charger until full, and then draw a couple of amps out of it. Let it rest for an hour, and then hit it up with my small 2A Noco Lithium to give the bleeders a chance.

Might do this a few times as kind of a pm maintenance. But for sure, trying to go from a deep discharge with just 2A would be maddeningly slow.

Thanks for sharing their response on how the bms triggers..

I'd return it, I haven't had much luck with Renogy equipment in the past and lots of complaints about their warranty/customer service.
