Victron 12/3k MP Not Going into Bulk mode

I recently got a new 4K maxpeedingrods generator that I wanted to try out. Last night I turned on my inverter, ceiling vent fan, and starlink router. These ran over night and used about 40% of my (2) 100Ah SOK batteries. I fired up the generator and set it to work charging the batteries. The MP went straight into Absorbtion mode with no bulk charging. The MP is set to 14.0v in absorbtion mode. Why would it have bypassed bulk charging?

My apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. I did search, but likely did not find the correct terms to use. TIA!

When you turned on the generator, what was the voltage? Also, was current still pushed?

If 14.0 or more was pushed to the battery, this may trigger the constant voltage where current tapers back.

I use Victron MPPTs to charge. I am more concerned that amps go into a battery than equal amps lost than if it’s in bulk or absorption.
