Victron for grid as backup only?

I've been reading victron literature and it seems like they're all about running grid and only switching to battery for backup.
Can they be set to run battery or solar priority and only use the grid if you run low? I plan to be off-grid in the Philippines but I will have grid power for backup I just don't want to use it because of the constant power losses and the high cost of the electricity.

You'll really need to state what Victron device you are thinking about using. They are all pretty flexible.

Well they pretty much all seem to imply the same but I was mainly looking at the multiplus 3000 or 5000

I could always run the grid and the invertor to a 3 position switch that I could manually switch over to grid if I ever needed. I was just curious tho if it could be set to run that way.
