What would a standard for plugging solar panels directly into our homes look like?

It's a bit misleading they call it plug in solar, but you don't just pulg it in, you have to get an electrician to do the connection.

That's now true. When they first came out the kit came with a plug that I assume included a cut-out device. Now a fused spur is required, however I confess to fitting and wiring all 8 of my panels in myself to a fused spur.
