Wind turbine

Has anyone or posible a installation of a wind turbine to a lvx6048 inverter
You need something for a wind charge controller with braking unless it’s one of those imports that has the rectifier and braking internally that I believe were being hawked a few years back.

The LVX can take the output voltage if in spec for under its max input voltage (450VDC?) and use it but it needs to be rectified, and the LVX has no provision for loading/braking in high winds.

One more thing occurred to me. Although we know nothing about the whirligig you intend to employ…
I don’t think a wind charge controller for the inexpensive import windmill heads is that expensive. If it were me I’d probably just buy an appropriate wind charge controller and plumb it to the battery bank with a CT or shunt to track its Wh contribution. Then you won’t have any issues with the erratic output of wind, and you will also be able to observe its effectiveness at doing anything useful.
