Wind Warning was too late

Just cleaned up the aftermath of a gale force windstorm...lost two of my three solar panels on the roof of the MobyHome.
Will be installing much stronger mounts someday but for the foreseeable future solar is dead.

Feel for ya. Ive never had it happen but have tempted fate in that department.

Oh nooo!! I just finished my roof install yesterday, and last night we had some good wind, all seems well, but I’m thinking the schedule 40 PVC that ties the angle supports may need to be upgraded to aluminum... :-/ so much for cheap, if that’s the case. The whole thing felt pretty darn strong when I was done.

Got the roof panels secured with bolts and plates. Wasn’t excited about drilling eight holes in the roof but two tubes of dicor it is pretty much leak proof. Decided to keep the two eighteen foot long flexible Panels as ground deploy if I have to park in the shade.
They roll up for travel and the five fifty watts should be good enough for rolling up the highway.
