When reading about wire for 12V, 24V, and 48V DC circuits, I almost always see folks using "Battery Cable" or "Welding Lead Cable". I know that these cables are very flexible and can carry a lot of amps for their size. However, I have several spools of 10AWG - 19 Strand THHN (PVC inner insulation jacket with nylon outer jacket) that were left over from a previous project. Any reason that I cannot or should not use that wire for solar panels and/or 24VDC battery connections/power?
Someone had posted this link: https://baymarinesupply.com/bosns_corner_wire_sizes
That link does not seem to specify what type of wire is acceptable for their calculations.
Thanks and God Bless!
