Xantrex C40 Charge Controller
I have this little gem in one of my mobile micro apartments and I must say...I am VERY happy with it.
I have one, 100watt solar panel on the roof of my Caravan (a 2nd panel is on the way) and even with the one panel, it does a phenomenal job
of keeping the batteries nicely topped up and ready. I'll be adding a 2nd battery with the addition of a 2nd panel.
I use the system to power my Diesel heater, mini fridge, lights, recharge batteries and warm food.
Simplicity and function. This one is reliable with no complications.
Even on cloudy days it seems to keep the batteries topped up nicely and it's PWM.
I have a 150A power monitor in line with it so I know how much power has been delivered to the battery.
If you're on a budget and looking for an inexpensive, simple, reliable charge controller that just works, this might be your ticket.
I bought this with my own money on ebay. I got absolutely ZERO consideration for this post.
