I am using the Xiaoxiang BMS for a 4S 160Ah LIFEPO4 DIY system (described here) in my caravan.
To prolong the life of the LIFEPO4 cells I am interested in using different BMS settings depending on whether the caravan is being used or not.
If the caravan is being used, I want the BMS settings to allow charging to 100% and discharge to 5%. If the caravan is unused, I want the BMS settings to allow charging to 70% and discharging to 20%.
I know how to change the settings and save different setting profiles. However, because LIFEPO4 cells have a flat discharge curve, I am having trouble figuring out what the settings for the BMS should be for these two modes - is it even possible? The cells are Winston cells, datasheet is here. I would be grateful for any suggestions for what settings to use.
