Y cable vs 2 wires stacked (battery to dual post BMS)

Building a battery and was wondering about the two 6 gauge cables to you hook to a single #2 lug.

I can also just run two 4 awg wires to each lug on the BMS but that would mean stacking the two lugs on the last battery cell.


Which would be the better choice?

I don't know how JK intends to use it. But a bus bar of some kind is the best way to join multiple cables.

So does anyone have a good tutorial on making your own Y cables?

I also have a JK with two terminals, and I’ll be using 4awg.

It it as simple as finding a lug that is equivalent to 2x 4awg?

4mm is 21.15mm2

2x21.15 is 42mm2

1 awg is also 42mm2

So a 1awg lug would work?
