EcoFlow R600

The electric jerry cans are an interesting idea and I'm wondering if you were thinking about just hooking up the 24v output of one straight into the xt60 MPPT of the other or of the R600?
I was thinking to use the regular link to the R600 Pro. Think of an extended power outage, or a long camping trip. You could be charging one EF1500 outside with solar or in a vehicle while another was discharging inside. Or just cheap capacity. Where else can you buy commercial grade 1500Wh batteries with warranty for $500?

That makes perfect sense and I'm glad you think that they'll work that way as I wasn't sure in which order they R600 and the EF1500 would drain. I've actually pledged for the R600 pro and 2 EF1500. $1729 USD delivered to the UK seemed like decent value as the UK has far fewer options than the US.

I have no idea which order they'll drain...
I'm in Dubai so went for the pro with 2 panels for $999 + delivery because no shortage of sun here ;-) - actually too much sun for some panels...
I have another 1200Wh capacity in my car with 100w solar.

That's fair enough. I wasn't sold on the panels, they didn't seem great value for money not did they seem very robust. I've a single Renogy 200w Solar briefcase that was £226GBP on sale (a bit less than $300USD) but being in the UK I'm not planning on relying on solar, just having enough stored power and the ability to charge quickly from AC should be good.

Looks like they'll start shipping soon. I got this email today:

Dear Friends,
We are happy to announce that the first batch of R600 and R600 MAX has been shipped out!
The estimated arrival date for these units to our US warehouse is on 5th September 2020. After a few days for processing (up to 5 business days) they'll be sent out to backers based in the US. Orders will be queued.
The second batch will arrive at our US warehouse in late September 2020. Again, it will take a few days for processing.
Once your products are sent out from the US warehouse, you'll receive a tracking number from us. For backers in Canada, the products will be shipped directly from our factory to your door.
R600 and R600 Max international version will be shipped from our factory in mid September on a first-come-first-served basis.
Shipping Update for R600 Pro, EF-1500 external battery and Pro kit
The first batch of R600 Pro and EF-1500 external battery will be shipped out from our factory in mid September. The shipping time for the second batch will be in October 2020 on a first-come-first-served basis.

fingers crossed that the software issues have been resolved and that the R600 Pro isn't a big pile of steaming dog *&^%

I hope they got the bugs worked out too.. I didn't go in on the deal but have not ruled it out for a future purchase. It's a shame EcoFlow didn't get one to Will to review before the kickstarter ended.

I just got shipping notification for my R600 Pro... allegedly it's on its way from Shenzen to HK Airport...
Fingers crossed.
I believe the solar panels ship separately.

So it turns out the shipment was the solar panels... :-(
They arrived yesterday.

Has anyone recieved a production R600 yet?
I'm not expecting a shipping notification for my pro until the end of the month...

I was told end of the month September, now end of the month October. Do we know if this is a logistics issue or a software delay?

Anyone here get an ef1500 delivered yet? Don't suppose we could see some pictures of the cable please?

I received the shipping notification for my R600 Pro yesterday. Panels arrived about a week after the shipping notification for them, so hopefully I'll have the R600 soon.

Hello @Sun Tzu,

I'll give $100 to anyone who can find an "EcoFlow" or "Goal Zero" product that is cheaper than ours (Per/KWh). Is anyone up for the challenge?

I would really like to know if anyone is offering a better price on battery packs anywhere in the country.. I have not been able to find anyone in the USA at our price points except Alibaba.com but that's a gamble at best and doesn't include customer service, local logistics and warranty.

Please eMail me at Eric@BigBattery.com - THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP! : )

Sincerely,

Eric Lungren : CEO

I appreciate the offer but, aren't vendors supposed to do their advertising in the Corporate Corner section of the forum? Juss sayin'.
