See previous posts: Seems like they've hack the API of some logistics company (or maybe the logistics company itself is fake). They can write whatever they want in regards to shipping process.
Its not even hacking any man and his dog can sign up to the site that has not been in use since 2018 and put in their own tracking information then the legitimate 17Track shows it as genuine tracking, what worries me is these scammers are getting bolder and their shops are being shown on front page of search results on AliExpress.

Yeah. AliExpress need to own the responsibility for spotting these scammers and not letting their algorithm promote their stores. I don’t think it’s doing their platform any favours as customers burned by these scams will surely avoid ordering from Ali again. I mean even if you ultimately get a refund, the delay from waiting for something which never shows up and the stress of having to go thru a dispute will put most people off ordering.

I don't agree that happens, i've seen tracking system of reliable companies like TNT and Fedx completely lie to me , for example , my TNT tracking info said the parcel was to be delivered yesterday , yet I know it hasn't even cleared customs as of today ,and is at least 4 days away at best

This is exactly where I'm at, spent the last 30 days unable to hit the buy button for £2k order, even though Ali have come through fantastic and agreed my refunds. I'm sure I will with time I was really impressed this year with the combined postage they now do for small components.

PayPal finally refunded me!
Took a while, but I didn't need to do alot of convincing. I linked this thread, and explained how the scam works.

And you think a bad review is going to help?

The desire for people to think there is a deal too good to pass up and people that want to provide that deal, is the reason why this scam works so well.

it would have worked for me I did look at reviews before ordering but didn't consider the five star reviews to be fake

If I was selling 10lb gold bars for $1 and there were thousands of 5 star reviews, would that not cause you to question things? I get if you were only out $1, why not try? This happens all the time with lotteries [another organized scam] so if you want to waste a dollar, I get it.

This is what I am saying is wrong with the world. Why do people desire to get deals that are too good to be true? Something should be in place to question that. Of course, once you go down this hole, the next one you would just pass by.

I noticed on the seller's AliExpress review page that most of the good reviews had ordered 2 single cells, even from the US. I don't know many uses for a 2s pack, and I find it hard to believe that the majority of their customers are building those. Fishy.

Oh yeah, they're definitely putting up their own reviews. Check this out.

Ordered 4 cells, can see a fifth cell off to the side of the picture, wonder where that came from?

They ordered two cells in the second set of pictures, but there's a bunch of loose cells laying around in the background, and some professional looking racking. Looks more like a battery shipping company to me.

Another customer that ordered four batteries, somehow ended up with a 16S pack. How much you want to bet that pictures from somewhere on this forum?

Pretty much all of the good reviews look like this.

Buyer Beware! I am presently awaiting a chargeback through PayPal from the yueyue007 store on AliExpress. After ordering a set of cells from this store on 24-7-2022 I received an automated reply in English that said due to Covid, shipping delays etc, it would take 3-5 months for the cells to arrive if that i ok. I answered I was not happy with that delay and recieved some Chinese jibberish as a response and then no more replies, I couldn’t put in a dispute with Ali, so I went through PayPal dispute system after doing some research & finding this forum with a number of similar problems from tis seller not delivering. So far the resolution date has changed 4 or 5 times and today PayPal has updated resolution date again from 4-9-2022 to be on 24-9-2022,. Ali will not let me make contact or dispute as the seller put in a dispute against me as soon as I responded to their automated reply as far as i can make out. So I will keep you updated as to how this finishes.

So why did you order through this seller? Price too good to pass up? Previous history? Reviews? Just curious.

google translate:

Hello, due to the impact of the epidemic and the international war, all logistics are currently delayed due to flights. The transportation method in this area is land/sea, and the time is about 3/5 months. Are you willing to wait? No disputes can take place during

This is to get through the credit card dispute window. Or maybe everything is legit....
i got this message also a day after order placed, I think it is to get through a dispute window, because as soon as I said no Im not happy with that, they put in a dispute with Ali, & Ali wont let you respond or make contact, Ali block you as well.

There are a lot of scams going on nowadays, and I would just like to say, I feel a certain level of judgement & criticism here, & while I can understand that, I know it is not easy for victims (Suckers) whatever u want to label them, to come forward and make these admissions that they have been scammed, its embarrassing to say the least, a major drama to try and rectify, if they can or do get their hard earned money back it is a nerve racking journey, & they feel foolish as well. So kudos to them who come forward and tell their tales of horror and scamdon, as they help educate the rest of us to recognise and report some of these scams & maybe reduce the number of victims from these unscrupulous people. Cheers all
