No, because I don't want to spend the money on a tester that I won't use again too. This project has really added up... I am just going to top balance, and make sure they all stay about the same, and above 3.5x after 24 hrs of resting to make sure I didn't get any really bad ones.

Seems there was another thread of 310s coming in closer to 300... I know I will be happy if mine are in good shape and end up around 300. To me, most important at this price is they all stay above 3.5V after the 24 hr relaxation period.

My savings for doing it myself are steadily going down here... ?

I am putting together a very similar system with 930Ah of battery. I also have the Victron 2x120V. In my BMS thread, @the_colorist recommended a REC active BMS for my 3P4S bank. I have one on order. I'm still working on my panels and SCCs. Looking at 210W Newpowa as a possibility.

My reasoning is pretty simple... I needed to put 10# of $hit in a 5# sack? space is a premium in my application, so I used them. The manual says you can use them, they don’t recommend it because additional insulation and fusing is needed - so just fuse and insulate... no problem.

Yes, except mine is split in the middle for space reasons. The REC Active balances the 4 groups of cells just fine. I have been full-time for 8 months and it is rock solid. From mid November to mid January, with the low sun angle and short days, I only got to 100% (and therefore top balanced)...
