Powering USB-PD from 12V?

I'm setting up a boat as a live aboard.

I have a few devices that are powered by USB-D and I'm wondering how I would best provide that on a 12V boat.

I could, of course, plug the devices' wall-warts into 110 through the inverter, but that seems wasteful.

Are there USB-PD drivers that can be powered off 12V DC?

I see a few on Amazon. Search for mobile 12v PD. Typically come with PD, QC, voltmeters and such.

Those may work.

I ordered one. I'll plug 12V into it on my workbench and see how it works.

I have 4 PD/USB chargers in my mobile home. With a switch connected to 24vdc system. It works good, only disadvantage are all the lights they build in the little chargers. For me it is not needed since I charge the devices when we sleep and then all the lights is to much.
I bought these with a voltage display

I was looking at those too but same, didn't like all the light show. I ended up ordering couple of these https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/4000553292760.html. They don't seem to have any lights. They are a little bit harder to mount, have to see.

No one doing USB PD chargers?
I have my home wired up for 12V DC power from my 4S LiFePO4 battery and whereever I need to charge USB devices I have added one of these USB power hubs which has USB PD and USB A outputs, plus provides 12V cigar lighter type sockets so you can easily add further chargers of the type sold for use in cars, so if you add further usb devices you won’t run out of sockets to plug in their charging cables, as it’s a modular solution.

The 12V plug with integrated voltmeter can be disassembled and removed, so you can hard wire into your 12V supply. I repurposed the voltmeter to show me my 12V bus voltage so I can keep an eye on battery SOC while I’m charging. It works well for me, I have three of these around my house, actually the previous model with a slightly different design, but close enough. The quiescent power consumption is super low, so no problem leaving them connected all the time.

edit: PS, it looks like that Amazon listing is for three different versions, make sure to order the PD version ?

Low idle power consumption is important for me too. Would like to avoid using extra switch for the ports.

The hub has integral PD, QC and 2 x USB sockets, so you only need to add the extra cigar lighter type chargers if you need more than that. I’ve measured mine with 2 extra chargers installed and the standby current consumption was almost undetectable.

Still looking. Now more power hungry so should be buck-boost GaN 100W+. Maybe it takes some time for those arrive on Ali...

In Europe, eg Pekaway and Tigerexped has them, both providing 100w

On Ali, i they are limited to 65w but in reality more like 40W max, and a lot of them require 24V in order to output 20V usb pd. Only a few include a boost from 12V
