JK BMS power button extension cable.

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me what the type of plug is for the power button on the JK BMS?
I plan on using this remote on/off switch but its only 15cm long and i was hoping to purchase a 30cm extension cable for it.

Is it just me or does that look an awful lot like the same setup we see on Aili shunts and the like?

I had to extend all of mine, so I soldered in a 10cm extension, using 22AWG wire and no problem. You have to work fast as 22awg is thin and heats up really fast.

So observed something on a new jk bms.the red led light on the power switch goes off after a while...and when this happens, am unable to see the bms on bluetooth, till i press the button once again...and it turns on.
But it goes off again under 45mins.
Is this a normal behaviour?.

Also why does JK use extremely short bms leads???????

That doesn’t seem like a feature worth having.

Is your Bluetooth device staying with in range?

Which JK do you have?

Also what case is that?

the case is a custom built metal case,
bms is JK-B1A20S15P

I spliced and extended the on switch cable by about 10 inches.
by Bluetooth device, you mean mobile phone running the jk bms app?..if yes..then sometimes the phone goes out of range, as its a slightly big apartment built with brick and mortar

You can find 500mm jk bms switches on ebay/ali currently... Some of the BMS`s seem to come with the short switches, and some with the nice 500mm long ones..
