I noticed since the time change on Mar 11, that solar assistant is no longer populating data for the pv_energy field.

Is there any way to fix this? I read elsewhere I can change the Solar Assistant Timezone setting to Etc/GMT-7. I tried this and it really skewed my daily pv energy values.
I am located in the CST.

Im not sure why it stopped reporting. Here is a history of usage from Home Assistant

After Mar 11 1:00 it reset and I am no longer getting any readings. On Mar 13, I changed the timezone to Etc/GMT-7 and I started getting some readings but they were incorrect. It was showing much more production than I was actually getting. So I changed it back to America/Chicago timezone and Im not getting any more readings now. I dont know that the time change played a role, I just read that this had been an issue in the past.

Are the numbers appearing inside SA OK? If so then it's probably some weirdness with the sensor type in HA which screws with the stats. Negative time intervals do weird things to energy sensors.

Wait 'til Monday morning. It resets weekly so hopefully comes back to life then.

I get a time zone issue every year.

Yes, they appear to be ok inside SA. I am seeing my daily energy accumulation.

But it looks like the MQTT feeder is only sending out 0 for the pv_energy. My sensor in Home Assistant is reliant on this value.
Im going to wait till Monday and hope it gets back on track.

I don't have any issues on the latest beta, I did have to manually adjust the time setting in my AIO but SA updated automatically.
Did you already reset your AIO time to match the time in SA? This had me all screwed up back when I started my solar journey.

Have you tried adjusting the Solar Assistant Timezone setting to match your actual timezone, CST? It seems like setting it to Etc/GMT-7 might have caused the issue with your daily pv energy values.

It's what happened to me, see this post and the few just above it:

My Sol-Ark did the same thing. I contacted Solar-Assistant and they said it was a s/w issue and suggested I switch to the beta version. I did and everything works now.

That beta version has been going since August 2023. About time it was put into the field and to move new features development to a new beta. Problem with beta is you can't roll back.

I note from the beta change log:
  • Correct total calculations during day/week that daylight savings adjust.

I reached out to Solar Assistant team last week. They replied and said I needed to update to the beta.

I decided to wait it out and see if it started working today after its reset. Sure enough starting today it is now updating.
But I will probably update to the beta soon.
Thanks everyone for your replies.
