Order of fuse and disconnect

Hi all,

I was wondering what is the proper of fuse and battery disconnect should be?

1. Positive bus bar to fuse to disconnect switch to inverter
2. Positive bus bar to disconnect switch to fuse to inverter

Which one of these options is correct? Thank you so much!

Option 1. Fuse also protects the disconnect as they're rated for x amps as well
