How to spot rebranded SRNE?

Yes Midnight's DIY (3kW and 5kW) line is SRNE. However they do support it so if you are having a problem they will attempt to help you. Renogy is not known to do that.

Only a few mega watt hours through mine. I'm still saying it's Some Really Nice Equipment.
That's good to know. My current off-grid system is Renogy. For the most part it works well, and I've had very few complaints, but it has kind of glitched on me lately and that makes me cautious as I look to upgrade.

To answer your original post I've found it easiest to download manuals and compare them, normally they are identical and the model number of the relabel is almost identical to the OEM.

My 40 amp Rich Solar are rebranded SRNE. So are the 60 amp Rich Solar. I even use the SRNE app to control them. Renogy is SRNE. I can't control my HQST with the SRNE app so I don't know who makes HQST.

so srne is good product ? i got power mister 12kw hybrid 3 phase inverter and it died 10 days after starting to use it . i am shipping it back to them tommorow it is under warranty. i am thinking to buy another unit srne 12kw hybrid inverter ? should i buy powmr 12kw or srne 12kw ? here is video of my powmr after it failed :

In my honest opinion and experience with my 10KW ASF, yes.
I'm quickly approaching 5MWh of solar through mine.
I recently ordered 2 10KW ASP's I'll be running in parallel for more capacity.
There is a bunch of info about the ASF in my "build" thread, a pile of other info in the other SRNE thread I started.
What fault / error codes was your powmr displaying? It looks like battery voltage drops quickly in your video? That noise doesn't sound healthy.

we heared bang strong noise , inverter showed error 25 bus bar short circuit. i shut it down hoping it will work after i reset it back. it didnt want to start anymore with ac input or pv input. it would start only with battery by turning on circuit breaker and it would stay on for 10 seconds and then noise comes like in video and then it shuts down and dies . checked all cables from ac input and from solar panels all seems fine and healthy no issues what so ever. battery was at 2% soc when it happened, and inverter was in SBU mode and it was night time , i mean when battery dropped that low it should switch to grid and provide load. Another thing battery was not communicating with inverter throguh can or rs 485 it was just working based on voltage because i was not able to get batter to communicate with inverter . so i was wondering could battery cause all of this .

It's really tough to say without seeing it first hand. I know I don't use battery communication either and don't have issues so I doubt that is the cause.
It's odd it doesn't work off DC PV or AC but works of DC battery for a short time.

inverter max pv open circuit voltage is 800v . i had in string number 1 400V and in string number 2 300v . i was at 700v in total. mppt working voltage range was from 250vdc to 650vdc. is that problem ? i dont know is 250-650 vdc per string or in total

i had doubts on battery because yesterday i connected it to other inverter and it started acting wierd showing red lights and faults then i tought i smelled a bit wierd electrical smell i jumped fast and shut down all , i returned battery today under warranty claim. there is nothing wrong with installation it was done properly with licenced electrician. as soon as i removed battery inverter is again working fine without problems and errors. i had mining rig today mining on it . i will probably order fron SRNE 1 unit and wait for replacement from powmr or refund . i would rather to get replacement so i have 2 units 1 as spare. last question is powmr 12kw 3 phase just relabeled SRNE 12kw 3 phase basically same unit just diffrent logo? or it is just a CHEAP copy of SRNE ?

It looks like it's the ASF H3 with a different screen, it's hard to say if powmr is having it built with different/cheaper components.
