I have the new tracer4215bn epever controller 40 amp 120v with the mp-50 monitor
I have a solid red light on the battery side which indicates. low discharge but the batteries are full charge at 13.7 when i check the monitor I have an error of over current at the load of 85a . my meter reading at the load terminal is 0 I have 65 volts coming in from the panels is the controller shot? no response from epever support

Do you have the battery hooked up to the correct terminals?

Got a picture showing the battery, controller and cables?

Yes I know my question might seem condescending but it's because of mistakes I might make myself. 🥰

Is it still functional without using the load terminals?

What are the low voltage alarm/disconnect settings?
I don't use the load for anything the mp50 is showing 160 amps to the load when I check the terminal at the controller my meter shows 0

all cables are correct it appears that the mp50 is shot from my last post the amps have gone up to 160 at the load but when I check the controller terminals with my meter it shows 0

Pics?

Did it ever work normal? It's possible it's broken for sure but let's make sure by sending us a pic so we can see.

yes my meter is reading accurate for the conditions at the terminals and that is within 1% of my meter at the panels

My MT50 has been known to throw funky readings for non existent loads. I can usally just unplug it for for 30 seconds and plug it back in and the readings revert to normal. Worth a try if you haven't tried.

I mean for the solar output showing on the MT-50.

It shows 105 amps solar on your 40 amp output controller coming in from your panels.

Most it would ever show would be like 40 amps if battery voltage is 12 volts.

that's why I think the mt50 is having a brain fart lol I have 3 400w panels in series oc is 37v and 13.5 amps on a good day ideal conditions with no reflection on the back side. i get 100v and around 35a

look again the 40 is a minus -40 amps then it goes to 167 amps on the load terminal

it's getting dark and the grow lights are off for the night so I will unhook the mt50 and plug it in again in the morning thanks for the input

got up this morning same reading. I bought this controller from wills review but I think I will junk it and move to another brand with the bifacial panels i really need 80 amp controller. any suggestions?
