Victron Touch Screen why is it doing this?

Lastly, on the touch screen, navigate to Settings, System Setup and show the battery monitor page (these are my screens, so yours will look a little different):

What does yours say here?

It should be the SmartShunt. If it's not, go to the next screen and pick it:

You should have the SmartShunt selected (mine is different than yours).

Headed to bed. Will check in in the morning.

Good news.

LFP battery charging at 0.7A @ 55.7V is pretty darn close to fully charged, and your PV charger is clearly powering the AC loads.

Note that the only time the inverter does not say INVERTING is when it's actually CHARGING from AC shore power. When loads are powered by solar, the inverter is still inverting.

If you use Victron Connect and connect to your MPPT, you should see it cycling through bulk/absorption and float as the day progresses.

It also keeps 30 days history:

Note that YOURS should report bulk/absorption and float times. Mine is under BMS control, so I only have a single bar.

  1. Recommend you post your MPPT settings with the expert switch turned on.
  2. Recommend you post your Shunt settings.
  3. What event precipitated this when it stopped working 3 months ago?
Please take a picture of your compartment. I suspect someone moved a wire to the wrong side of the shunt 3 months ago.

Thank you so much!! Ill take photos of the compartment tomorrow. In the meantime how do I get my shunt settings? I did get a new generator 3 months ago. It used to cycle through absorbtion and float but not now. The app doesnt work anymore.......It used to list 2 items here and I clicked on t he second one to see status, but now the second one is gone and the first one doesnt take me to that screen. Total newbee here. When I click on view online portal, is does nothing.....

So I DO know how to reset the % back to 100% as when the power would die all the way I had to do this. Should I just do it again? Sounds like you are saying the 78% is really 100% anyways?

In the meantime how do I get my shunt settings?
Here are screenshots of how to get to your lynx shunt settings in the app. Note* I'm doing this from a PC so the layout will be slightly different if you are using the mobile app.

On this last screen I highlighted three specific items that may be contributing to your SOC running off and/or not calibrating to 100% when full. Charged Voltage will need to be ~0.4V lower than your Absorb voltage setpoint. Peukert and Efficiency should be set same as the settings in the screenshot.

Oh, one other one to check is the Charged detection time. I have found that 3m seems to be about right for most installs, although setting it to less than that could work, but might re-calibrate to 100% at 99.9% already, lol. (In other words, probably not a biggie if it is set to less than 3m.)

Okay. It's pretty hard to wire a lynx shunt improperly, but it can be bypassed.

Can you take a picture of the shunt that also has the associated blue pieces as well as the batteries and MPPT all in the same shot?

Nothing obviously amiss there.

Can you take a picture of the battery bank including where the cables are connected?
I cannot take a new one, they are behind the RV fireplace which is a real chore to get off. I can find an old photo thou with the battery balancers installed.

ah... this one...

Thought it looked familiar...

Okay, so the lynx shunt can be programmed via the Cerbo.

Please look this video from this time stamp:

He shows the cerbo screens.

You'll select Lynx Shunt from the base menu (where it shows all your devices).

then down to Settings.

then Battery Bank

send pictures of all of those screens.
