Does 3 pole double throw switch get a ground?

Hi,

I think this is a basic detail that gets passed over quickly, but I'm a bit confused.

I have 2 lv6548 that will be used in split phase mode, and i plan to use bypass as well with AC input. I plan to use a critical loads panel that is directly connected to my 3 pole double throw switch. Which allows me to switch from grid or inverters.

What do I do with the grounds? My 3 pole double throw switch does not have a ground bar. Previously my subpanel had 4 wires L1 L2 N G from the main panel. So I'm a bit confused what to do now with the ground wire when i put that switch between my main panel and subpanel. And also what do I do with the ground from my distribution panel since I'll connect the L1 L2 N to the double throw switch.

If it makes a difference I'm in British Columbia, Canada and i've added pictures of my transfer switch.

Thanks I appreciate any guidance that you guys can give.

Only a 2 Pole transfer switch is required commons or neutrals should not be switched and everything should be grounded just add a ground bar.
Sounds like you got the wrong transfer switch
But should still work depending how you set it up you may not have to run neutral through transfer switch box.
I'm using a generator interlock as my transfer switch.
Sorry it's not complete I just had the neighbor help me install the inverter and batteries last night.
No PV yet just using it as UPS right now.

Thanks for responding and thanks for the pictures.

In your picture of the transfer switch, I see 1 green wire connected to the bar. Where does that green wire go? Also did you have to drill and install a ground bar there?

The lv6548 have a NG bond in the inverters that it uses when in inverter mode, but releases in bypass mode. So the 3 Pole double throw allows to switch the neutrals as well.

This thread mentions it briefly.
