Hello from Belgium.
I am trying to connect my PC with a Seplos Mason 48V 200A battery pack thru RS485.
I am using this USB-RS485 adapter with FTDI chipset : https://www.amazon.co.uk/KALEA-INFO...DI-FT232-chipset-RJ45-Connector/dp/B01N5DM2UE 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8
I have tried everything to connect but it doesn't work.. pin lay-out of adapter is ?? NC / B- / A+ / GND / 0 / 0 / GND / 0
Seplos BMS 10E RS485 pin lay-out : B- / A+ / GND / NC / NC / GND / A+ / B-
port : COM3 , baudrate 19200 select : pack1
Because Bluetooth suddenly didn't work anymore , I tried to re-activate thrue BatteryMonitor V2.1.9
Nothing helps. End of my rope .
Thx for all the help.

So have you made an adaptor cable to cross the pins over so they match?

You could otherwise just order an official adaptor from Seplos, they ship pretty quickly.

Hello Friend!
I have a seplos bms v3 200a that has the same problem. Did you manage to solve it?
Compliments

In my case, just cross pins 1 and 2. With a regular network cable does not work. You have to swap white-orange cable with orange.

Once I got the right info on the RS485 ports on my Seplos v3 BMS, I was able to make a cable that works in either BMS port A or B.
pins 1 & 2 for RS485 A/B
pin 5 is the only common GND across both ports so use that.
If you're chopping up a standard LAN cable, the colors will probably be orange / orange-white for 1&2 and blue-white for 5
