I want a 6x6 x 5 foot wireway.
I've seen some but $400 for a square metal tube seems unfair.

What does everyone do?

I got my 10X10X48 off of ebay for a lot less.

Google "6x6x60 wire trough", first page had multiple options for $130-$160 range.

Yea got mine off ebay - I think was through Zoro. Could find on their website too I presume.

Watch the size dimensions. They're easy to mix up

This is 48" x 6" x 6", didn't see a 5 footer. $102

Don't underestimate the shipping costs for something 5' long and heavy.
Regardless of who ships it, it will be expensive.

Most make you buy the end caps separately, those are $20 each on Amazon Caps, but a lot cheaper other places.

I got mine from zoro- if you put stuff in your cart on zoro website they generally send you a 15 or 20 % off coupon overnight, ends up better price than zoro on eBay. Zoro is good prices on some stuff, it’s hot/miss

Bought mine at Gordon. Here's a 6x6x60 with welded end caps which makes a nice finish versus a screw end cap:

I bought an 8x8x48 for my setup. No complaints.

Only weird things is that they sent it LTL truck on a pallet instead of by UPS or FedEx. It was free shipping, though I'm not sure that is the case now.

No problem, that's the same one I ordered. 1 corner was a little bent in shipping but easily straightened. It's heavy duty and so much nicer than working in my previous 4x4.

When I started pulling heavy wire through it, I was glad for the room. Bigger bends on the wire too. I also have the busbar for my batteries in it.

I have bought lots from Zoro, never had a bad experience.
I usually get the stuff without knockouts so I can put in my own at the correct locations and size.

What do you use to cut your own knockouts?
I have a few hole saws but they seem to make messy holes in sheet metal. They're just too coarse toothed I think for sheet metal.

I use a step-bit to get the hole started and then a hydraulic punch tool. Clean cuts every time!

I have a knock out set, just need to drill out a pilot hole and use the dies for the rest.

Drill a starter hole, then use a (relatively) cheap manual knockout hole punch tool. You can also use a high torque drill motor on the punch tool.
