I’m stuck in analysis paralysis. Lots of info out there and am trying to neck it down to what applies.

I have an EcoFlow Delta Pro and a non-inverter gas generator (https://westinghouseoutdoorpower.com/products/wgen9500df-generator-dual-fuel). Adding solar panels is on the future-projects list.

COA 1: In extended power outages, can I charge my Delta Pro with the generator I have (link above)? What are the risks of using a non-inverter generator to do that?
COA 2: Should spend $1k for the EcoFlow Smart Generator? Is a $600 harbor freight inverter generator just as good? I don’t necessarily need the “smart” features of EF’s.
COA3: Can an EG4 Chargeverter be used with my current generator to charge a delta pro? I couldn’t tell from the manual what the output cables are like (typical battery cables or can you make the output a NEMA connector?).

I appreciate any advice you smarter-than-me people could provide!

1: Probably.

AC CHARGING INPUT
1800W Max, 120V~15A, 3000W Max, 240V~12.5A

1800W max from 120V, 3000W max from 240V.

A 3500-4500W generator would be a much better choice than a 9500W generator unless you intend to power other things with the generator.

"probably" because it depends on how clean the power needs to be.

2: No. Maybe.

3: Yes.

SOLAR CHARGING INPUT
1600W Max, 11-150V, 15A Max

It could supply ~56V * 15A = 840W
