Greetz!

Long time lurker, first time poster. Built a pack this weekend from 4X Overkill Solar liFePO4 cells and am using a JK_B1A8S20P BMS. Previous pack builds used the JBD BMS devices and all performed as expected.

Fired up the pack yesterday once assembly was completed. Set the parameters for battery chemistry which set defaults in the BMS. Looked pretty reasonable for the default settings so I plugged it into a bench power supply set for 14V @5A, and over several hours watched as the SOC rose. Left it overnight and looked in on it this morning and noted the power supply still indicating about 6A of current going into the pack. The JK app on my phone reported the same.

Like my JBD BMS, I would have expected to see the charge rate go someplace close to zero as the pack voltage climbed abd the SOC indicating 100%.

Anybody else have issues like this? Is it me? Firmware update?

BTW, wrote to JK-BMS on thier web site (leaving a message doesn't work) sent them a direct email, we will see if they respond.

Well, this is embarrasing... About an hour after I posted this the pack settled down and the charging current dropped to zero.

Patience is a virtue that I clearly lack.

Nik thanks for hitting me back and pointing out the fact that it is in CC phase.
