Hi All,
I am new to the forum, but have many years experience in Electronics and Engineering. I am looking into purchasing a full home system to supply around 10KW if needed. I would like to minimize my space and clutter in the basement so I started looking at all in one units. I found this one, and have corresponded with the manufacturer a bit. I was wondering if anyone else had seen this unit in use, and what the opinion was for bang vs. buck. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tom

For a whole-house system of the size you are talking about, I would recommend completely staying away from these cheap, imported All-in-one units. Stick with name-brands like the Outback Radian, or a Schneider XW. A lot of these low-budget AiOs are cr@p!

The MPP all-in-one controller/inverter by the MPP company is good. However, they have put out a statement about the many all-in-one controller/inverter that are copy cats of theirs and even look the same down to the logo. Those copy cats controllers are cheap and crap and the MPP company is begging people not to buy those cheap knock offs thinking the knockoff controller is from them.

I agree with Jim and Michael and would add Sol Ark and Victron to the list of quality products. All of the above have some or all of their products or components made in China. If you can find them, Trace Engineering products built in the 90s are rock solid and I believe they set the standard for this industry.
