LVX 6048 current over (S1) or (S6)

Im installing a LVX6048 mppt, but give me a code S1, Im goin to attach what I got, please let me know if Im can use all panel in serie, 8 batteries 6v acid.

How many panels? You can run 7 in series, or 8 in series depending on the weather where you are.

I got 9 panel, 400 watts each. So I need to take off 1?. I live in Puerto Rico, hard sun, rain, and some time both at the same time

You need to look at Voc and also your temp correction. I'm not sure min temperature where you are. Lets assume 5C. Panel is rated at 25C. You need to look up correction factor. Lets assume .30. This means at coldest day your panel will output about 52V. 9 panels at 52V will be 468V, too much for your input. Any weather below about 19C will over volt with 9 panels, assuming these corrections. You need to verify the value for that specific panel.

In Puerto Rico the minimum weather is 80 Fahrenheit. I include the spec for this panels. Thanks for help me

I was looking at this inverter as well, I also have 400 watt panels but 24. I think I would need two of these, or one of the big growatt12k units but my total REAL wattage output would probably be over the 7000 watt panel input (Tucson location). The more I read the more I doubt my ability to learn this.
