BMS shopping

Hey all. I am looking for a 8s bms for my 8 eve 280 cells. I am leaning towards the 8s 2amp active balancer JK bms. I have no experience with buying from aliexpress and have seen alot of posts about people being scammed. Is there a trusted vendor on aliexpress that sells bmss? If you had a good experience buying a from a particular vendor that sells a bms can you let me know? Thanks.

A WORD on all of these BMS', when you order them, like the JK's for example, do order them with the extras like any converters (RS/CanBus) or LCD displays if available for a particular model at the time you purchase it. It may cost you a few more dollars at first but if in 6 months down the road you want to add communications interfaces or something, you will want those bits AND they may no longer be available.

Every company, JK, JBD, Chargery, Daly etc are all doing updates / changes & revisions on an ongoing basis and therefore what is available today may not be so 6 months or a year down the road. Some of it may be quite easy to get while other pieces maybe not.

HankZor Vendor (below) carries all the JK components, they have better documentation than most other vendors and even a Github site for the software etc... Many members buy from there and do not report issues.

Got a JK-B2a8s20p from Banggood coming. Shipping from Canada stock? Have not received it yet. Ordered a week ago. I stayed away from Aliexpress. I think you can find them on Alibaba also.
Watched many reviews on YT and discovered it should be a good unit. The active balancing at 2a should really keep cells stable.
My battery setup and box is ready for the BMS.

It's not the JK brand, but I just got finished buying a 12v 250amp Daly BMS from AliExpress and was very happy with the experience - just under 1 week from ordering to my door (Toronto Canada) via the free shipping method. Package was in great shape, nothing damaged and everything was included that was advertised (bt module, temp module, balance leads). I would recommend them to anyone interested in a Daly.
