I've been looking at the Deye products; based on research and some threads here it seems like people are saying their Deye inverters are much better quality than their mpp or growatts. I've never physically looked at one but they appear to be much better quality..can folks that own them chime in here? If the latter is the case then why can't we get the EU models here? I know they are forbidden by Solark to sell the split phase here but why can't somebody like signature solar and or watts get the single phase 240V EU module here like they do for the Growatt where folks use a isolation transformer to split the phase? I was looking at 12 and 16k versions. I can only find them on Alibaba but the shipping is ludicrous and I've never done business with Ali so I'm not sure about them in general. But, it would seem like SS or watts could sell them as they do the EU growatts. Seems something like this could fill the gap between the mpp/s and outbacks etc.

nope, usa supplier of deye is sol-ark.
you may find grey import if you are lucky, but then i wouldnt count on support or updates

I thought it was only the split phase units. If solark designed the unit and had deye manufacture it then I can understand, and it's a direct clone, but it seems like there's differences in the two for sure. Also, it doesn't make sense why solark doesn't seem to care if they sell it in Europe or the rest of the world but not here in the USA. You'd figure if it was a intellectual property thing they'd have issues with it being cloned anywhere not in just one market. I think SA just wants to create a monopoly in NA to force people to pay it's out of touch prices. It's unfortunate we only have Tier1 like outback and schinder and Tier3 like mpp and growatt. And, since mpp or growatt doesn't seem interested in stepping up their game it leaves this gap. I plan on getting a conext or radian latter but was looking for a tier2 product for now. It seems like the deye fit that bill for build quality and functionality. Anyways ...thanks house for your answer. Have a great evening.

Come on Deye...Release the 12/16k units in NA with 200A pass through and built in wifi. Change the Case up a little or something.
