Idle Consumption No Load - TBD
One of the spec sheets shows 60WIdle Consumption No Load - TBD
Agree. If you need a fully code compliant all in one, the Sol-Ark seems to be the only choice for the US. Just add RSD.It does have Arc Fault which if you need it is hard to come by.
Engineer775 says $4k
"it is a little high, your paying for the name, your paying for the tech support, your paying for the software".......
Victrons still aren't UL listed iircThis is ridiculous! Sol-Ark is starting to disconnect from users and reality. Why spend $4500 for single phase 120v that can't parallel to output 120/240v, when you can get two Victron Multiplus-II 48v 3000 to output 120/220v for $2,776 and still have $1,722 in spare change to buy whatever you want. Ah, with this inverter you also get more output among other goodies.
If you arent planning to send power to the grid, it doesnt matter. They have equivalent euro certifications equivalent to UL listed.Victrons still aren't UL listed iirc
Also you'd need to get one of the 450/200 victron solar charge controllersIf you arent planning to send power to the grid, it doesnt matter. They equivalent euro certifications equivalent to UL listed.

Aha, did u read my post. You have $1,722 left to spend in whatever you want to buy. It might as well be more Victron hardware, lifepo4 battery or ice cream. Also you'd need to get one of the 450/200 victron solar charge controllers

True but then you end up spending more than a Sol-ark 5p.Aha, did u read my post. You have $1,722 left to spend in whatever you want to buy. It might as well be more Victron hardware, lifepo4 battery or ice cream.
Not necesarily! But im sure you can get a better package with Victron than with 120v Sol-Ark 5k for $4500.True but then you end up spending more than a Sol-ark 5p.
I'm not sure that you can. Victron stuff is typically more expensive than an equivalent sol-ark system. Not necesarily! But im sure you can get a better package with Victron than with 120v Sol-Ark 5k for $4500.
Do the math, im right!I'm not sure that you can. Victron stuff is typically more expensive than an equivalent sol-ark system.
2x multi-plus 3kva + 450/200 is $1388 x 2 + $2267 = $5043 for a bit more solar current but less output power (much less at higher temps)Do the math, im right!
I am not familiar with the Victron but I am not sure based on the spec sheet that you are showing what you mean by "Monster"you are comparing two completely different beasts. For $500 more you get a monster of a 120/220 setup! The 5k-p-n is after all a mere 120v inverter.
