Totally agree on the price. However, I looked around quite a bit (not just on Amazon) and I couldn't find anything else that would work. I wanted the studs to be 5/8 or larger, plus something that would be easy to mount in my cheap plastic battery box. Not much out there.

3/8 is most common followed by 5/8.

Sure thing - my good friends at Amazon are selling it here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079K5HB79/
Would you use these battery terminals through a panel/bulkhead through (a semi-sealed steel box)? I have two custom-made steel boxes with a couple of holes on two ends. Each box will contain 8 EVE 280Ah cells in series. I can run a couple of feet of 3/0 wire through the holes or possibly connect to these. That is as far as I've gotten with the battery box plans.

I just bought 4 of these (2 red and 2 black) from an eBay seller at a considerably better price. Supposed to be here this week, I'll report back if they seem inferior quality.

And i see now they have a slightly better deal in pairs.

I sourced some “400a” through wall terminals from aliexpress. They are very close to the SOK terminals, I think they were around 15-20 but I had to wait for the slow ship.

@Brett V I used those same type of Bulkhead Connectors but got them from Summit Racing and they are Moroso branded.
They work really well BUT there is, of course, a Gotcha, you can spin the center when tightening (they are threaded all the way through) so when attaching the cable be aware of that otherwise you could pull the center in. You want the "outside towards cable end" to be a bit proud so it clears the plastics and no stress. Also on the inside Lug, you may have to bend it inwards a tad, all depends on the materials being used for your boxes. FIY: There is a "little" voltage drop because you are going through Brass, if I recall it's about 0.01v so not that significant. The chrome plated ones may be different as I got the clean brass ones.

As I used 3/4" thick Plywood for my boxes I had to make recesses to accommodate the lock-ring. 280AH-Battery_Box.jpg

I used those on mine as well, like mentioned before they will spin if not careful.

@Steve_S

I saw in the Amazon reviews the center conductor will spin. Not sure if that's a bad thing or not...depends on how secure your cables are since anything that moves on the outside will also move whatever is attached on the inside. I'm mounting them in a truck toolbox so basically 1/8" (3.5mm for you Canucks), aluminum diamond plate. I think the silver colored studs are stainless so I'll be happy with the brass.

They are plated brass, I have one set of those.
They'll be fine with the 1/8" diamond plate, a dab of caulking at the lip will help keep moisture out (thinking of the diamonds).

Whoops I thought they were higher than 200a but they are very rugged.

I mounted them on 1/2” plywood and did have to source 8 new fasteners for the increased depth.
