I have 2 x 100A SOKs in parallel (50A stated max charge current) and was planning to install a 100A magnetic/hydraulic breaker in the charge line but not sure if that is a good option. My question is, does the SOK BMS trip on charging over current, if yes at what amps? And if it does how is it reset? Also is any damage done to the BMS?
Any insight is welcome, or directions of where to find the information.

I would be generally limit collective charging sources to 80 amps max to avoid any overcurrent charging issue.

Sorry I don't have the actual answer although usually a disconnect would reset a battery protected by the BMS.

Thanks, I've asked the question to SOK. I'll report the answer here if I get one.

They actually restrict charging at 70a per battery, so you have enough margin to safely push 100a into a pair of two. It auto-resets when charge voltage has been removed.

SOK BMS would shut off if the charge current over to 60amps, but sometimes, if there is a peak very high current, it would cause the BMS burnt. If over 60amps, BMS shut off, just charge it, it would be back to work, very easy, no any damaged.

If the intension is to press the charging at the max rating... I recommend verifying the balance between parallel batteries actually splits the current very close to 50/50. Does not take much to have some imbalance. Use a DC clamp-on ammeter to verify.
