Good times and stubborness. For a project I have a ecoflow delta 2 + EB. It is rated for a maximum of 60V input on the built in MPPT. I have access to a very cheap pair of sunpower SPR series 360W panels that fit the exact mounting area like a glove (61x41" x2) and overpanel the system so that I get really good low light production to keep the little delta setup charged.

Problem is the voc on these panels will likely kill the delta MPPT. Does anyone have photos of the junction box internals on this series of panel? Curious how they are wired or, if I can re-wire the junction box to cut voltage down for this project. Hoping someone has photos of the x22 series junction (I have searched but my goog-foo failed).

I really want to make these panels work in this situation. I was looking at circuits to cap VOC or keep the panel from going into open circuit but want it as bullet proof as possible. If it can't be done then I accept it. But my will is strong to make this work

Probably has 3 bypass diodes, so you could move the PV cable to tap after 2 diodes for 2/3 the voltage. You get 2x 240W panels.

Whether it is easy to cut and isolate the remaining 1/3 section would depend on whether series connection occurs in junction box or under backsheet. If accessible then you could have three paralleled groups of 2 diode bypassed sections, for 3x 240W panels.

If not isolated, you could pull out a negative 1 diode bypassed section, use to power a fan, or a separate charge controller for a second purpose. NOT isolated, so don't connect to other grounded things.

where did you get the sunpower panels?
