I want to take advantage of the Ford CCP. I'll run the positive 8 awg cable about 8 feet to the rear of the driver's seat where I'll add a 60A breaker and from there connect to the CCP. I'll run the negative cable directly to ... Not entirely certain where to connect this. I was hoping not to have to remove the seat to get at the actual battery. I opened this little door panel in the same corner as the CCP but on top of the 'seat box' and there was a large negative cable connected there. Here is a snapshot...

This is a 2022 Ford Transit 250. Can anyone confirm if this is a good place to connect the negative cable for the dc to dc charger or, if not, suggest the best place, please. I really hate guessing when it comes to anything electricity related but it is the negative cable, so maybe I'm overthinking this... Any and all suggestions appreciated greatly...

In case anyone finds this and has a similar inane question :)
I was able to identify the cable in the pic above as the actual negative battery terminal, so that will do just fine and is very easily accessed. This video is a bit older, but shows how to access the battery in a transit and seems pretty similar to the 2022 model:

Good work sleuthing your vans wiring and thanks for posting pics and your results.

It has been my experience that considerable effort has been made to enable easy access to power for building out vans. I have seen this with Promaster vans when i put an Orion into a friends van.
