The Max AC charging speed with the switch in the down position should be honored. So assuming I set it to 500W, it should draw no more than 500W from the AC input, but it seems to draw 1500. Am I misunderstanding the setting or does it not work correctly?

Have you modified the low speed limit in the app?
Have you tried it in the other position to confirm it's not reversed?
