just in the process of installing this inverter. can it be connected via ethernet (hard wired) or does it need wifi dongle for remote monitoring? also where can one buy the wifi dongle?

Great news to share here about Tigo RSD. Luxpower inverters have just successfully connected to the Tigo Smart RSD monitoring platform! This means that if users connect LXP series (Incl. EG4 18kPv) inverters with Tigo RSD and use Tigo EI services, Luxpower's monitoring system can monitor the power output of each individual PV module.View attachment 163944
what's the cost for this and where can you buy?

Declaration

Recently, Luxpowertek issued a statement with regards to the contract dispute between Ningbo Hua Yu and Luxpowertek. This is the outcome of the court case mentioned in that statement.

The Yinzhou District Court of Ningbo City has ruled in favor of Luxpowertek in the first instance on September 8, 2023.

Judgment Result:

All claims made by Hua Yu have been fully rejected and unsupported by the court. Hua Yu is required to pay Luxpowertek the total amount of outstanding contract payments, amounting to 745,319 CNY, along with interest losses. Hua Yu is also required to pay the court fees of 31,908 CNY and preservation fees of 9,247 CNY.

In response to Hua Yu's malicious dissemination of information regarding the ongoing legal dispute case in public, falsely claiming that Luxpowertek would lose and is exposed to legal risks and engaging in detrimental activities of dissuading clients from conducting business cooperation with Luxpowertek through various channels. Luxpowertek, after the verdict announced by Yinzhou District Court on the morning of September 8th, hereby publicly declares the verdict and reiterates that this case has been concluded.

The dispute between Hua Yu and Luxpowertek will not affect any client's cooperation with Luxpowertek. If clients still have concerns, we can provide the original legal judgment (in Chinese) and certified translation documents from third-party institutions (in English, Spanish). At the same time, Luxpowertek reserves the right to pursue legal responsibilities against Hua Yu for their malicious defamation of Luxpowertek's reputation and product reputation.

Furthermore, it is declared that due to Hua Yu's failure to fulfill obligations as stipulated in the contract, Luxpowertek officially revoked Hua Yu's exclusive distribution rights for the 8-10kW US models in the United States and the Caribbean region as of January 1, 2023.

Luxpowertek will continue to focus on technological innovation and improving user experience. We will increase investment in the U.S. market, establish a local service team, and strive to provide customers with better products and services. We sincerely appreciate the continued support of our global customers for Luxpowertek!

Obviously, this post did not come from Edwin of Luxpower, but someone maliciously pretended to be Edwin of Luxpower, so it was discovered and deleted by the administrator.
Fortunately, we got a fair ruling from the Chinese court before the RE+ exhibition, and we will focus on technological innovation and improving user experience。
All of Luxpower's current business are in an orderly manner now. Luxpower will be on time for RE+. Welcome customers to visit our booth 5521. At the same time, our CEO James has more than 20 years of inverter design experience will be there and answer all questions from partners.
Thanks for all your attention.

You may buy Tigo optimizers from whoever is selling them. And pay Tigo EI premium service for 20$ per year. Then configure the Tigo EI's account to your LXP monitoring account.
For example, Ss is selling this too: 44$/pc.
So basically this is to maximize each PV's output. It's worth I think.
Thx

I was very surprised that someone falsely claimed to be me and spread false information, saying that we wouldn't participate in the exhibition because of this lawsuit... LMAO.

Our booth number at the RE+ show in Vegas is 5521.

As mentioned above, this case was judged on September 8th, and we won the case completely. Furthermore, that company has to pay us some money to settle this case according to the court's verdict. This serves as our official and latest update on the situation, and after nine months, the lawsuit has finally come to an end! We have learned a lot from this experience and will work to prevent such business traps from happening again. As always, we will continue to excel in providing better local service and improving our products in various markets.

We sincerely thank all our customers and friends for their continuous support and understanding of Luxpower.

Hello Eddie. Thanks, also do you know whether the inverter has any kind of hardwired (ethernet port) for remote monitoring or is wifi dongle the only option for remote monitoring and where could one buy the wifi dongle?

Yes, we do have hard wire WLAN dongle. but sorry I am not sure of the availability here now.
Hi @Markus_SignatureSolar can you check the availability of this item on your end?
Thank you

thanks, yeah I saw it as well, do you have any experience with this and whether its better then using what luxpower dongle/adapter provides?
I am not using SA (yet) so can not comment on the differences.
Since they are both using the same information from the inverter API interface, there shouldn't be much of a difference.
The layout & what is presented on the screen could be different.
Certain single board computers with SA could have a monitor detached and would make it a solution where you both can view the data locally & remotely (on the same LAN) with a browser.
Some people are using an inverter for off-grid and don't have access to internet (no cable/dsl or even cell tower reception available).
In those cases SA sounds like a great opportunity to harvest data.

You need to connect the Wi-Fi dongle to your local network unless you want to monitor purely on the phone app because that can connect directly to the dongle.
The official monitoring you will only see data every 5 minutes whereas with solar assistant you will get it every 10 seconds, major difference. The connection to the inverter with solar assistant is so easy to set up, literally automatic.
