Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if you can alter settings for Solis hybrid solar inverter chargers through it's web page, or only from the unit itself?

The reason I ask is my parents have got a Solis 3102/RHI (not entirely sure on the part number) and a lifepo4 battery. Their electricity tariff from Octopus Energy offers them free electricity at random times, they were wondering if during this free electricity period they could charge their battery.
I know you can set grid charging times from the device itself, but that's a bit fiddly to set up every free electricity session and the unit is in the roof.

I was hoping there's a way you can do it from the web page, if it's possible to write a script or something that charges for 'X' hours when a link is pressed that would be even better.

If not then maybe I'll keep an eye out for a lifepo4 charger and a tasmota smart relay linked to alexa so they can say "charge the battery" and it turns the relay/charger on for a few hours.

Thanks everyone!

EDIT: Just realised that the charger would start to be partly fed by the batteries themselves, I guess that plan won't work!

Yes, through the web page and through the App. You may need to contact Solis Support to get it enabled, although it is already enabled for most users.

At the top of the Inverter detail screen you should see Inverter Control.

Solis Europe on YouTube have videos with how to use it.

Just found that setting, I'll have a play and watch a few videos. Thank you!
