Not sure about that? Our XW6048 says it can charge at 100A and it does in fact charge at 100A, it doesn't derate anything.

If you want to run loads like that you should really be looking at a 24V or 48V battery bank/system voltage, it will be a lot more efficient.

I didn't think a response taking a few days was particularly slow, maybe my criteria for saying they are responsive is different than other people :D

If you compare an XW Pro against Victron or other high quality hybrid inverters, the cost isn't so wildly different. Maybe it seems expensive against some random EG4 inverter, but come on, lets not pretend they are even in the same league (in terms of quality) as Schneider, Victron, Outback...

I find this odd as they've been responsive to my inquiries, don't think they even asked if I was an installer or DIYer.

Personally I just followed the detailed installation diagrams and manuals and all went super well. They are easy to contact for support as well, whenever I email them with a question I get a fairly prompt response back. Most of the issues with Schneider gear comes when you want to be grid...

Email Schneider. They are pretty good about responding, they helped me set up our generator with the AGS.

It's exactly the same as when you buy a AA Duracell battery and the package says they are 1.5V.

You bought the Seplos boxes from Docan, not Seplos? Interesting. What did they charge you?

Our battery bank is 57kWh, we use it to power our entire house. We charge with about 12kW of solar.

Believe you can use their software to set your capacity manually.

Have you verified that the orientation you want to use, is safe for the batteries? They are ok in some orientations, not in others. There's a post about it somewhere on the forum.

Yeah, sorry dude but the SW's are notoriously unreliable. You will find many tales of them failing on these forums and others. It's unfortunate, and crazy because the XW line are real tanks and super reliable. I do hope it works well for you though.

Yeah, aren't the busbars in that box only rated for 100A? The bigger JASSN without the breakers supports 300A on the busbars, which is what I'd be after (but, no breakers :( )

Thought the JASSN with the breakers had low amperage bus bars? Maybe this is fine for your application. You did a great job, it looks amazing!
