Hey folks,

I'm currently running 2x 6500ex where each one has its own L1, L2, N, and G 6 AWG wire (using only 1 Load leg per, original design was going to use a split phase setup). I'm upgrading to an 18k that I already have but I'm not sure what the best way to turn my 2x 6 AWG connections into a 1x 2 AWG connection for Grid In and Load Out would be. I will be running this offgrid mode with grid as backup bypass.

Looking for safety, clean install and preference for using ferrules over a crimped terminal. While searching through forum I found someone recommend these: https://a.co/d/6NI77pF

Are these safe and adequate for my use case? Are there better options to consider?

Your wires will need to be capable of carrying the full grid current supplied to your home, if it's a 200A supply you need 4/0 aluminum or 3/0 copper.

Also pay attention to wire sizes, 2AWG is not the same as 2/0. Hence those connectors you linked to are too small.
You need something like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B095L38YPF?
250 is the same as 4/0.

Thanks!

My copper 6 AWGs have breakers @ 50A, and my Copper 2AWG will have breaker @ 100A. The whole house service from the grid is 100A in total.

EDIT: That brand looks pretty solid and I see it's UL listed. I think those might be perfect for my use case.

Something like this may work as well. I just got a few of these for a project I'm doing. Price was very attractive and was exactly what I was looking for.

I would love if I could find some DIN Rail Blocks that could do 2AWG on one side and 6 AWG on the other, but haven't found anh that are reasonably priced.
