Designing my first solar system for use in the EG4 mini-split (adding heat/cool to detached garage)
I have 8x 100w/12v EcoFlow panels.
Recommended solar input for the EG4 minisplit is 1000-1600W (90VDC-380VDC), so I am coming in a little under the wattage (will use AC power to fill the gap)
First go at the blueprint:
Here is what MidNite's solar sizing tool spit out for all 8 modules in series like above. Am I understanding correct that the series is best given the 90v minimum input voltage of the heat pump?
