Being a DIY battery builder slightly tempted by the current sale. Granted it is only $10 per cell but $$ is $$.

Anyone else utilizing this sale?

Check the shipping rates ya'll, 18650 did this before, lowers the price of the cells and then jacks up the price of shipping... I was excited then disappointed...

304 for $135.00:

went for 149 down to 135 so $14.00 cheaper/cell

But shipping went from 52.45 to 87.93. Hrm.. actually it is cheaper overall.

Agree with Alkaline, previously to Oregon it was 71.00 now $110.00 so $40.00 more, overall cheaper by $5.00/cell. I think a better way would be to keep shipping price the same and just lower price by $5.00.

They mean they won't refund if you change your mind. If you get a bad cell they will replace it but $20 to ship another cell at least keeps people from abusing it

Shipping is more expensive because they removed the FedEx option which was the cheapest option before

Try changing what's in your cart. It comes and goes for me.

18650 is shipping price discrimination on grade A vs grade B cells, grade B cells are much cheaper or about $12.00/cell vs grade A cells is are about $25/cell for the same zicode.

Insurance on Grade A cells will be much higher due to the higher price. Less expensive to insure an $800 order vs a $1800 one. Same as any small business who ships.

No its just a sales tactic, if anything grade B should cost more because they are technically faulty lithium cells. They did this to show a lower price per cell on the listing page...
