Hi, I have 4 x 100 watt Renogy mono panels, i want to put 2 of them on the roof and have 2 on the ground. Can i run them on the same mppt charge controller or is it better to run 2 smaller charge controllers?

Which SCCs are you considering? As worded, the answer is yes and sometimes.
