setup my system following will prowse 24 volt system:
giandel 2000 - 4000 inverter
renogy charge controller 40 amp
2 x 200 watt solar panels in series to give 600 watt
2 x LifePo4 battery setup in series to = 24 volt
My system seemed fine for about a 40 days and then the inverter cut out and wouldn't restart. Much fiddling without changing anything specific it would restart.
tried the long press 3 second & starting with load switched on eg hairdryer
Ive been in touch with giandel and don't understand the response.
Any suggestions please?
I'm not in my home country or I'd be sending the inverter back where it came from.
"reply from giandel:This LifePo4 battery has BMS protection function, the working range of this LifePo4 battery is 10-14.6V (20-29.2V), and its high voltage protection voltage is relatively low, only 14-14.6V (28-29.2V).
So we susupet this is because your battery is in protection but inverter in normal working condition, battery was automactially shut off, inverter had no backup power and then turned off. And after several hours battery dischrged to working condition, inverter can be turned on again.
This inverter High Input Protection is at about 32v. Please check if your battery protection voltage setting is too low. And please do not use inverter while battery is charging. When battery is charging, battery has a virtual voltage to inverter and make inverter goed into High Input Protection more easily."
