Hi. I live offgrid in Baja. 2000watts of panels, Outback 80 charge controller, Giandel 24v 3000W inverter, and (6) 12V 200A LifePO4 batteries wired for 24 volts. The inverter goes into high protect mode and cuts out when the charge voltage reaches 27.7 volts. I currently have the Outback 80 set to charge and float at 27 volts. Does anyone have experience with this model of Giandel and have similar issues? The crappy owners manual says the following, but I can't get close to 28 volts without it cutting out and sounding the alarm. Thanks.
  • When you charge the 24V Lifepo4 battery by the solar controller, please set the solar charger current less than 29V .

I set it at 27 to avoid it reaching 27.7 and cutting out. If I raise the voltage to that point it will cut out and show the HI alarm. I would like to charge the batteries to a higher state of charge but this is preventing it.
