24S ANT BMS wiring for 16S

Guys,

On the ANT BMS the left hand balance connector has 10 white wires and 2 red wires. The right hand one has 1 black and 13 white. This gives me a total of 23 white. I know that the black is the neg and the final red is supposedly power for BMS. I'm presuming the second to last red is the 24th balance lead and should be left unattached.

So in summary I am going to connect as follows

Black to negative
White leads 1 through 15 to the positives of each cell
White lead 16 and final red lead to positive end of bank

This will leave white leads 17 through 23 unattached and the first of the 2 red leads unattached

It sounds like you want a 16S 48V config.

I have never used the 24S ANT, but this is what the Aliexpress sales site says for that.



Your description sounds correct and that pattern is the same as other Ant BMSs I have used.

The pictures on AliX only shows one red lead. I wonder why yours has two red leads.

Not that I know of.

The most likely explanation is that someone in the factory made a mistake and put in two reds......
