Advice on connecting AC input to off grid inverter in UK...
I have the following inverter off grid 5kw https://voltaconsolar.com/off-grid/conversol-v7-off-grid-inverter.html
(rebranded Voltronic Axpert King....)
This is what I have done so far...
-I have connected the panels to a PV combiner, replaced the cabling in the PV combiner box as it was not up to the job - Combiner is outside incase of fire etc we can isolate panels from outside. Inside connected to solar DC isolation switch.
-AC output goes into a isolator switch, then onto a consumer unit - then onto a wall socket.
AC Input - The manual recommends a 50A breaker? - why so high is this because it can be set to use grid power for the load (5000w) And the power to charge the batteries?
I was hoping to plug it into a wall socket on a 32a breaker?
I think the AC input is only if you enable switch to AC when solar/battery is not available?
any advice comments appreciated......
